On August 29th, 2011, after working out at the gym for an hour and stopping by the drug store to pick up a prescription for one of my 14-month-old twin daughters, I suffered a debilitating heart attack that actually stopped my heart three times. After many days in a coma, several surgeries, concern of major brain trauma, renal failure and bleeding issues, I finished my three week stay at the hospital and was able to come home.
Long story short, I am alive and kicking and have no signs (unless you ask my wife) of brain trauma. I look at every day as a gift. Shortly after this life changing event, my wife and I decided to open this Once Upon A Child store in Sandy Springs. With our twins, we often were looking for ways to save money and have a positive financial impact on our family. This seemed like the perfect solution.
We opened our doors in Sandy Springs on 10.24.2013 and every day since has been an adventure! We love our location and the people of Sandy Springs and surrounding areas have been so welcoming to us.
Our business model is simple. We value our employees. We value our customers. We couldn't be here without them. We are always eager to hear from our customers, whether it be a suggestion for improvement or simply sharing an experience that you had at the store. You are the lifeblood of our business.
Each Once Upon A Child location is individually owned and operated by moms and dads like you, who understand money doesn’t grow on trees.
Our customers want quality children’s clothing and we’re excited that we can offer discounts up to 70% off original retail prices. We strive to offer a fun and convenient way to sell your gently used items. Whether you’re buying or selling, we would love to help you find what you’re looking for. We offer payment on-the-spot for items we select that meet current style, safety and condition standards. We maintain high merchandise standards by thoroughly inspecting all toys and equipment for any safety recalls.
